i had the opportunity to help coordinate the 2012 fashion show with the african student association (asa) while studying engineering at eastern illinois university (eiu). the show needed to communicate the story of different parts of africa and the culture to a very diverse audience
solution
the show is called night at the african museum inspired by the movie "night at the museum", where everything in the museum comes to life. we worked with fashion designers, dance choreographers, makeup artist, actors and more to bring the show to life (mostly students)
this experience showed me the importance of culture and inspired me to study design
