BamiDélé Adio Elégbèdé is an award-winning product designer blending cultural heritage with modern design. He founded RitualShare, an innovation lab creating ritual-inspired products that foster belonging in the digital age.
With a passion for bridging technology and tradition, BamiDélé has collaborated with global brands like McKinsey & Company, Yeezy, NETGEAR, and the Exploratorium. His work, known for its simplicity and poetic nature, has earned multiple awards, including “Most Innovative Product” at the 2018 CBA Globes for the Hanu Stone vaporizer. In 2019, he secured first place at the AI Health Hackathon for co-creating tools to address viral outbreaks in developing countries.
He believes design should emerge from a deep understanding of human behavior and natural environments. Currently, BamiDélé is the Designer in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania’s SAFELab, focusing on digital well-being, and teaches Product Design, Human-Centered Design, and Exhibition Design at Drexel University.
