Exploratorium | Senior 3D Exhibit Designer
I designed interactive exhibits that make complex science tangible. Built with scientists, educators, and fabricators. Made to be touched, questioned, and felt.
The Challenge: Science is abstract. An exhibit has seconds to earn a visitor's attention and communicate a complex principle before they move on.
The Approach:  I designed at the intersection of science, art, and perception, testing how visitors naturally interact with materials. This is where PMFA was born, the experience design framework I now teach.
The Outcome: My work ranged from intimate gallery shows to floor strategy for entire science centers.

CURIOUS CONTRAPTIONS
exploratorium winter show
Designed the exhibition space for a highly tactile winter show of whimsical automata. Engineered an environment that highlighted handcrafted mechanical dramas and brought them to life.
YE (KANYE WEST)
Led a research inquiry into human emotion alongside the Global Collaborations team. Tasked with using exhibit design tools to investigate wellness, we prototyped immersive sensory environments to map the phenomenology of being.
