The WAX615 is a fanless WiFi 6 access point. High performance. Zero noise.
The Challenge: WiFi 6 runs hot. The WAX615 had to cool itself without a fan, fit a compact chassis, and vanish into the room.
The Approach: I worked with the ID team, thermal and RF engineers to make the enclosure itself the cooling system. Over ten iterations in SolidWorks, thermal testing, and working prototypes. Details and internal files under NDA.
The Outcome: Shipped worldwide in NETGEAR's business line.
