BAMIDÉLÉ ELÉGBÈDÉ
I am an industrial designer and design strategist who works at the very beginning—when the problem is still forming and the path forward is invisible.
My process begins with deep historical immersion, searching for metaphors and unexpected parallels that reframe the challenge itself. That shift is where meaning surfaces and durable ideas take shape.
I have led multiple products from early concept through mass production. The ONYX Motorbike—a vintage-inspired electric café racer—raised nearly $1 million on Indiegogo in thirty days and was named Best E-Bike of the Year. The Hanu Stone, a vaporizer shaped like a river rock, won Most Innovative Product of the Year.
My work spans mass-market hardware at NETGEAR, innovation strategy at McKinsey & Company, and exhibit design at the Exploratorium. The R&D I led there became the foundation for the Kanye West Stem Player, which generated $2.2 million in its first 24 hours.
For me, education is design. I created PMFA, a methodology that translates abstract, often invisible challenges into physical, participatory experiences people can feel. I have presented at the SEGD Academic Summit, published research in Communication + Place, and taught design at Drexel University.
Today I lead RitualShare, partnering with institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania to build AI experiences and immersive environments that change how people engage with knowledge and meaning.
I’m guided by one goal:
to inspire poetic moments of interaction.
